We celebrated the Second German Playground Day in Brandenburg

TN-Spielplatztag

Last year, the BSFH launched the First German Playground Day to draw attention to the importance of playgrounds for children. We took part again this year and prepared a local event:
Together with the children from Krugparkschule, we spent the morning together on Thursday at the playground at Turnerheim, which opened in December.

The response was great - over 120 children from 6 different classes visited us in several stages to laugh and enjoy the sunshine together. After a few small gifts for all the children, there was fruit and water ice for everyone, and the playground equipment was extensively tested and played on by the playground discoverers.

The timing could not have been better: just two weeks after the start of school, the first classes had the perfect opportunity to get to know each other through play. For the older classes, a morning on the playground was of course also a welcome change, especially as some children had not yet had the opportunity to explore the playground in such detail.

We would like to thank the Krugparkschule Brandenburg for their interest and great participation - we consider this playground day a complete success!

We received a special thank you afterwards: the "reporter sisters" from class 4a sent us a report of the day, which not only lends weight to the aim of the playground day, but also to our motivation.
